On the Mend Summary

Here is a summary I wrote on the book we read. On the Mend. My reading group has been working really hard on our work.

This story is about K2 the kiwi. When K2 was born he injured his leg and it was pretty bad. As time flew by he learnt to walk on one foot but he needed support with his Bill. He was kept at the Whangarei Kiwi House. When he grew up he was taken to the Auckland zoo to be checked if he could live in the wild. They had options but they went for the impossible. Operating a K2s leg. K2 had support from the BNZ kiwi trust and the from the council. His first operation was successful but the screws were loose. So they booked another operation a month later and it was a real Success. It was a huge improvement, or tho he improved, he could never walk entirely normal again.

Hi Moses, it sounds like you included the most important information in your summary. This meant that I have an understanding of what happened in the book, even though I haven't read it! Was K2 able to be released into the wild after his surgery?
